# Get one custom verb

GET https://api.withwrit.com/v1/verbs/{name}

API key required. Returns the custom verb's record, including its
status and, for rename aliases, `aliasOf` naming the canonical verb.
A name from another tenant is 404.

### 401 Unauthorized Error

API key required — missing, malformed, or unknown key.
