Create a team invite code | Writ

API key required. Mints an invite code (writ_inv_...) for the caller’s tenant. Teammates pass it as inviteCode to POST /v1/keys to join this tenant instead of getting their own — they share the tenant’s audit log and policy but never receive the sponsor token. Creating a new code rotates (invalidates) the old one, so there is only ever one live invite code per tenant.

Your Writ API key (writ_…) as an Authorization Bearer header. The sponsor token (writ_sp_…) is a separate credential used only for grants, revokes, and reinstate — it goes in the same Authorization header on those endpoints. In the Fern docs playground, paste the key here; it is stored in this browser only.
