Tenant, key meta, and policy | Writ

API key OR the magic-link session cookie (no Authorization header needed when signed in via the dashboard). Session-cookie callers get key null.

Your Writ API key (writ_…) as an Authorization Bearer header. The sponsor token (writ_sp_…) is a separate credential used only for grants, revokes, and reinstate — it goes in the same Authorization header on those endpoints. In the Fern docs playground, paste the key here; it is stored in this browser only.

Response

Current tenant and key (no raw key). Includes the tenant’s receipt usage for the month and billing status. Free tier is 1,000 receipts/month; POST /v1/check returns 402 payment_required once it is exhausted or billing is past due. 402 bodies carry portal_endpoint (/v1/billing/portal).
